Its central location close to free public car parking and to the shops make the church buildings a popular venue for events ranging from concerts and recitals in the worship area to one day conferences, workshops and one off meetings. There are a wide variety of rooms particularly attractively priced to charities and local clubs and societies.

The worship area with a public entertainment licence for 350 can seat up to 300 persons. The whole area is carpeted with under floor heating with comfortable upholstered seats and can be set out in a number of configurations using flexible staging blocks. It has a 16 channel P.A. capable of playing CD music and any output from tape or MP3 players plus DVD sound (see data projectors below) and recording facilities. The worship area also offers a  hearing loop, a good quality organ and Boudoir Grand piano. We have two business class data projectors that can also be set-up for your use.

Immediately adjoining is a coffee bar with a good sized kitchen with an adjacent large multipurpose hall with a composition floor available for table top sales, drop in groups, meals etc.  To the front the Wesley Room provides good quality facilities for talks and community use for about 50 people.  It is equipped with an upright piano, P.A. and hearing loop system.

Disabled facilities, toddlers toilet and baby changing area as well ladies and gents toilets are close to all these rooms.

There is a lift to the first floor leading to a large hall with a capacity for about 100 persons with small kitchen, a large meeting room with capacity for about 50 persons and a small discussion/committee room holding about 10 people.  Separated by 6 steps there are a further two rooms suitable for 25 and 8 people. There are toilet facilities on this floor.

The premises has a current fire certificate and the lift, electrical and gas installations are inspected regularly.

All rooms are available for hire for suitable events subject to a number of conditions.

The rooms are hired by session, morning, afternoon or evening rather than by the hour giving flexibility to meetings. In addition there are data projectors, DVD players, OHPs, flip charts, tape and video players available for hire.
