Boy's Brigade
The 1st Witney company of the Boys' Brigade meet at High Street Methodist Church every Thursday evening during term time. There are three sections to join, depending upon age. Five to eight year olds come to Anchor Boys, eight to eleven year olds to the Junior section and eleven to eighteen year olds join the Company section. Brownies
Brownie Guides are usually aged between seven and ten, although some Brownies stay in the Pack until they are a little bit older. Any girl over the age of seven can become a Brownie Guide as long as she is able to understand, and wants to make, the Brownie Guide Promise.
Brownies belong to a Pack and work in small groups called Sixes. Sixes can have names such as Elves, Pixies and Gnomes. This gives each girl a group of ready-made friends to take care of her. It also makes her feel that she belongs to something special.

Grandparents and Toddlers Group
The Grandparents and Toddlers Group move to High Street in 2000. We are a non-denominational group who meet on Tuesday mornings in term-time 9.30-11am in the Wesley Room. Grandparents are more heavily relied on to provide childcare for their grandchildren and older people sometimes feel uneasy in a group of younger people at toddler groups. We provide a variety of toys for babies and children, including puzzles, colouring, books and good company for grandparents. Refreshments can be obtained from the coffee bar and biscuits are provided for the children. We make a small charge of £1.50 per session to help cover the costs and are helped financially by Witney Families Together. Come along on a Tuesday morning - a warm welcome will be assured.

Wesley Toddler Group
The Wesley Baby and Toddler Group exists to give your child (and you) the opportunity to enjoy free play, craft activities and singing in a fun, friendly and caring environment. The group provides a place for carers of young children to come, relax, meet new friends and spend time playing with their children.

At the group you’ll be able to meet others in your situation and give and receive mutual support and encouragement. We hope that the group will be a safe, caring environment for your children to play in and to come into contact with other children of a similar age.

Carers from within the group also run it. Most of the morning is free playtime for children. There is a range of toys available and an activity table every week with craft, painting and sticking. We finish each week with a singing session for everyone. The group is open every Friday during term time from 9.45-11.00am.

The registration fee per annum per family is £2.50 September to July; reductions are offered if you join mid-year. Their is also a weekly fee of 50p per child. A warm welcome awaits you.
