As we welcome the year 2012 I wonder what thoughts are going through our minds?

For some the new year is a wonderful opportunity to consider taking up a new interest, to plan events and holidays or to start the diet that will change everything!

But for others the new year holds some concerns and worries.  There are hospital appointments and courses of treatment to be undertaken.  Meetings with employers or officials to discuss the way ahead and for others, facing a new year without a precious friend or family member.

Each one of us is on a journey in life which can be uncertain at times, but be assured you do not have to walk it alone.  We have a heavenly Father who will hold our hand and never let go.  He will guide us as to the way to walk.  He will bring people alongside at just the right moments.  He will bring peace in those troubled and frightening times and there will be healing for the inner pain you will feel during those moments of loss.

Whatever this year holds for you be assured you are loved dearly by a Heavenly Father who knows all about you and your situation. Just call out in prayer to Him and He will come and be near to you.

Our church is open every week day from 10 am -  2.45 pm and Saturday from 10 am - 12 noon for a place to come and be quiet or pray and our coffee bar is open for  cups of tea and a chat.

We would love to see you,

    Witney High Street Methodist Church.
